Job Summary

The Digital Strategist is responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing digital media campaigns to enhance brand awareness, customer engagement, and lead generation. This role aligns digital strategies with broader organizational goals, leverages data-driven insights to achieve measurable results, and ensures compliance with relevant standards and regulations. Additionally, the Digital Strategist mentors team members and fosters a collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities

Work Performed and Job Requirements

  • Digital Strategy Development and Campaign Management
    • Develop and execute comprehensive digital media strategies aligned with marketing goals and audience preferences.
    • Plan and manage cross-platform advertising campaigns on platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook/Meta, LinkedIn, X, and Outbrain.
    • Oversee media buying, audience targeting, and budget reconciliation in collaboration with finance.
    • Coordinate digital marketing efforts with offline channels to ensure consistent messaging and branding.
  • Content Creation and Management
    • Produce high-quality digital content, including graphics, videos, and written copy for websites, social media, and email campaigns.
    • Manage social media accounts by curating content, engaging with followers, and monitoring online conversations.
  • Optimization and Performance Analysis
    • Audit and optimize digital assets, including landing pages and ad creatives, to improve conversion rates and user experience.
    • Monitor and analyze campaign performance using analytics and marketing tools.
    • Use data-driven insights to assess campaign effectiveness and refine strategies.
  • SEO and SEM Management
    • Implement search engine optimization (SEO) strategies to improve organic search rankings.
    • Manage search engine marketing (SEM) campaigns to drive website traffic.
  • Team Leadership and Collaboration
    • Mentor and train team members to support project completion and professional development.
    • Collaborate with creative teams to produce channel-specific multimedia content, including short-form videos and interactive web assets.
    • Work closely with web development teams to ensure website content is current, user-friendly, and aligned with marketing initiatives.
  • Compliance and Regulation Adherence
    • Ensure compliance with WCAG, GDPR, CCPA, CAN-SPAM, HIPAA, and other relevant standards.
    • Establish processes for ongoing ad compliance reviews to meet industry and platform standards.
  • Industry Awareness and Reporting
    • Provide stakeholders with campaign performance reports and actionable recommendations.
    • Stay informed of emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in digital marketing.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education/Training

Minimum of a bachelor's degree in marketing, digital media, communications, or a related field required.

 

Experience

Minimum of 5 years of experience working in digital media, including web analytics and performance reporting.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong understanding of digital advertising principles, social media platforms, and content management systems.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing and analytics tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to convey complex information in a clear and engaging manner.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to refine work processes effectively.
  • Customer service orientation with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Adaptability to new technologies and processes.
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities, prioritize effectively, and meet strict deadlines.
