HMA is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for compiling budgets, conducting variance analysis, and developing financial forecasts to support strategic decision-making. You will create scenario models to assess financial outcomes and provide ad hoc financial analysis to drive business insights. Proficiency in SQL and Power BI is essential, as you will extract, analyze, and visualize financial data to support reporting and operational improvements. Additionally, you will leverage your problem-solving skills to create new analytical models, especially when data availability is scarce. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, a data-driven mindset, and the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
Job Summary
The Financial Analyst is responsible for providing insightful financial analysis and recommendations to support business decision making, in addition to working closely with cross-functional teams to forecast financial performance, analyze business trends, and support the annual budget process.
Work Performed and Job Requirements
Education/Training
Minimum of a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field is required. CMA designation preferred.
Experience
Minimum of 2 years of direct financial analysis or related experience is required.
